      Fundraising Operations Executive

      Alongside completing a Psychology MSc course I worked at Age UK, a charity supporting older people, and provided operational support to three fundraising teams in the Major Giving department. My main responsibility, however, was managing 'Later Life Champions'; a cohort of mid-level funders. I was their key point of contact, created and managed communications on a seasonal basis and updated the internal database accordingly. I identified new donors for events or one-to-one meetings and managed the relationship with successful increases of donations due to my personal and timely manner.       On a fixed term contract I worked for the National Charity Partnershipwith Tesco, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK which aims to raise £30 millionin three years. I was responsible for managing the Big Collection fundraising event; avolunteer-led bucket collection at over 500 Tesco stores nationwide held over two daysin September involving thousands of volunteers from both charities. The National CharityPartnership focuses on raising funds for Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.Key responsibilities of this role included:- Recruitment and line management of the Big Collection Project Coordinator- Development and implementation of a volunteer recruitment plan across both partner charities ensuring 500+ Team Leaders and 2000+ volunteers are identified, allocated to all participating stores and are fully briefed- Design of fundraising materials, digital and online promotion and source materials for the fundraising event with support from the Marketing and Communication team- Implementation, management and build of ‘e-touches’; an online registration platform - new to the partnership- Formation and build of online registration website for the Big Collection- Creation and management of all Team Leader and volunteer communications offline and via ‘e-touches’- Initiation and advancement of contactless payments for future fundraising activities- Established strong relationships with a range of key stakeholders, including the facilitation of monthly working group meetings with the wider team.
