      Led a multifunctional Infantry Brigade Staff, as the brigade executive officer, in combat operations in Iraq from deployment to redeployment and reset. Privileged to have led some of the best Officers and Soldiers in the Army. Served as the battalion operations officer and executive officer for the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry in the pre-deployment training and reset of equipment prior to combat in Iraq. Planned and executed the move of the battalion’s equipment, Soldiers, and family members from Schweinfurt to Grafenwoehr an 180km move. Show less Observer Controller. Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, LA, trained combat units from the platoon to battalion staff, contributed directly to their unit readiness by providing quality after action reviews. Company Commander. 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82d Airborne. Led company in combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Company Commander, Battalion Operations Officer. 2nd Battalion, 19th Infantry Regiment. Led company through infantry one station unit training, resulting in over 1200 trained infantrymen entering the force. Served as an infantryman from the enlisted level and retired in 2013 as a battalion command select Lieutenant Colonel.       Led the Exercise Support Branch at the US Pacific Command and synchronized the disparate functions of the branch to include: budget execution, transportation, Joint Training and Information Management System, Joint Operations Planning and Execution System, Task Management System, and Joint Lessons Learned program. Planned and led the project team for the physical move of the branch, which resulted in a more efficient, consolidated support. The project included the movement of 10 personnel all of their work related and personal items, their networked capability, and maintain support to their customers without interruption. Key Player in budget sequestration resolution process that allowed all joint exercises to execute despite budget cuts of up to 10%. Briefed the Joint Exercises portion of the weekly Operations Update to the Operations Director (two star naval officer, Senior Executive Leader), the Chief of Staff (two star army officer, Senior Executive Leader) that provided situational awareness to the executive and senior staff on planned and current exercises. Responsible for Field Training Exercise planning and execution, quality control of US funded partner nation UN pre-deployment training, budget requests and execution assessment to the US Department of State.Extensive experience in coordinating and collaborating with the highest level of the US Government. Used technology to effectively communicate with team partners in countries all over the world.Led a small group for the MPAT Combined Force Standing Operating Procedures in Ulaanbataar, Mongolia that included officers from 8 different nations to update and improve the command and control of stability operations. These improvements and changes were included in the current MPAT-SOP that provide the commander for a combined force in Asia a template for staff planning and execution. Maintained a master schedule for project related activities and separate for operations; incorporated changes as necessary after formal/informal review so as to avoid changes to scope Show less Worked and led planning teams in an international environment. Military Exercise Planner for the Keen Edge/Keen Sword series of exercises, and Han Kuang observer mission with Taiwan. These Exercises were completed on time and within budget. Collaborated with Taiwan Joint Staff and trainers in planning for Command Post, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), and Field Training Exercises resulting in the first successful Joint US headquarters participation in a Taiwan HADR event. Assisted with Synchronization all aspects of planning and execution of USPACOM involvement in the observation of the Han Kuang series of Exercises to include training the observers, coordination of administrative support, and preparation and consolidation of After Action Review products.
