Served as the battalion operations officer and executive officer for the 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry in the pre-deployment training and reset of equipment prior to combat in Iraq.   Led the Exercise Support Branch at the US Pacific Command and synchronized the disparate functions of the branch to include: budget execution, transportation, Joint Training and Information Management System, Joint Operations Planning and Execution System, Task Management System, and Joint Lessons Learned program. Planned and led the project team for the physical move of the branch, which resulted in a more efficient, consolidated support. The project included the movement of 10 personnel all of their work related and personal items, their networked capability, and maintain support to their customers without interruption. Key Player in budget sequestration resolution process that allowed all joint exercises to execute despite budget cuts of up to 10%. Briefed the Joint Exercises portion of the weekly Operations Update to the Operations Director (two star naval officer, Senior Executive Leader), the Chief of Staff (two star army officer, Senior Executive Leader) that provided situational awareness to the executive and senior staff on planned and current exercises.
