Decentralised outpatient model of care - Nurse-led clinics to facilitate optimization of the strategy and Repository of evidence to provide a baseline for improvement measurement. The project objective was to improve patient safety and patient outcomes through efficient referral management and patient safety. - Involved with Clinical Redesign processes for Children's Health by strengthening health services through optimising nursing strategy and action plan-Monitored and reported on timelines, schedules, and risks to the Executives and stakeholders-Managed risks and issues identification, assessment, and mitigation activities -Managed business change management deliverables and resources required to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of the Referral Streamline Project and that it meets the business needs. Show less My role as BPIO on the Outpatient Efficiency Project was to assist with the standardization of workflows and reporting functions in specialist outpatients to improve outpatient data by Data validity- examining the quality of the data used to report outpatient performance including patient waiting times across specialty clinics. -Evaluating outpatient performance indicators including Category 1, 2 and 3 patients, seen in-time, out-of-time, identifying Not-Ready-for-care and Cancellation rates or Did-Not-Arrive rates.-This role worked in conjunction with the Clinical Nurses, Clinicians, Administrative Staff and Multidisciplinary Team to evaluate the efficiency of outpatient business processes by facilitating the capture of current state of outpatient service delivery and undertakes to identify and potential business process improvements for the future state mapping and bringing it to the attention of the business owners.
