  The Mayfair Hotel- Food & Beverage internship

  I was Working in new restaurant called MayFair Kitchen in The May Fair Hotel London. During the new start been an honour for me to work for 3rd top restaurant in London according to our customers on TripAdvisor at July and August. My internship started in training center of Edwardian Group, where we received full training on health and safety, product knowledge tests, procedures and all relevant information about company structure. I have also attend training for sustaintibility of business. I worked in the restaurant, being able to serve, communicate with customers. I have gained great experience in hospitality (communication, upseling, setups of tables, menus, drinks, cocktails, wine and product knowledge). Working in the restaurant gave me ability to understand procedures restaurant have to go through. Each day our team had a breefing about the reservations, product test and our company goals (revenues, sales, plans, statistics) . My main interest was in Marketing and Sales department and I was able to learn more about the process of selling, orders, inquiries, corporate sales, customer wishes and wants. Therefor I was able to apply my university knowledge and apply the theory in practice. I got familiar with the programs of the company, the control system, finance, marketing and HR office.
