Jan 1986 - Jan 1998Chief Warrant OfficerNegotiated Military Corridors through Austria: NATO aircraft flying combat missions to Bosnia out of England and German airfields were required to fly around neutral Austrian airspace. Through negotiations with the Austrian CAA NATO air corridors were established. The use of these corridors by NATO forces deploying to and returning from Bosnia saved thousands of flight hours and millions of dollars in fuel and maintenance cost.
