  Research Intern

  I was given the opportunity to work as a research intern for 3 months at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from Vishwakarma University - VU in a form of a scholarship. The challenge was not the work but actually stepping out into the real world. I was working under the guidance of Prof. Cindy Wang. The task was to discover the aesthetics of Singapore, document my journey and convert that data into a short film that will showcase Singapore through my lens.I also worked under the guidance of Peer Sathikh for another project. He was kind enough to go out of his way and mentor me. He taught how every little thing is connected with Product Design. As a task, I was told to convert a piece of any traditional music into a form which was quite interesting to think about. Initially, I had trouble finding my way around it but Prof. Peer really helped me out. Overall, my experience throughout was beautiful, insightful & engaging. I learnt a lot from these two astounding professors and could not be more grateful to have had this opportunity. Show less
