Yearly simulation of a disaster recovery scenario. * Virtualization of 65% of the server infrastructure. Convert around 100 physical servers to virtual using 16 physical hosts running VMware 4.1 and 7 Dell/Equallogic iSCSI SANs and 3 Cisco Nexus switches. As a result the company saved about 50% of the Data Center electrical bill. Software: VMware 4.1* Interconnect headquarters in Miami with Latin American branch offices. Lead design and implementation of the Wide Area Network (WAN) using Cisco technology. Search and contract internet providers (ISP) in countries where offices are located. Interconnect 8 offices in Latin America with the Miami headquarters using Cisco encrypted tunnels over the internet.This project delivered $120,000 in annual savings for the company.* Deploy Cisco VoIP solution. Details: Implementation of a Cisco Call Manager (PBX) for 450 users and a Cisco Contact Center for 160 agents. The solution also included Cisco Unity Connect for Voice Mail, Cisco Meeting Place and Cisco Presence. * Implementation of Windows Terminal Server 2008 Environment. Enable remote users to connect to the headquarters using Dual Monitors. Software: Windows 2008 R2 Server. * Implementation of a Blackberry Enterprise Server. * Direct the team for the transition of a major operation (100 employees) from Copenhagen to Miami. Installation of new cabling computers, and communications systems.* Extensive traveling to Latin American countries to deal with vendors, insurance commissioners and government regulators. Additionally training and couching of local workforce.
