  A Senior Receiver’s job covers the direction and coordination of receiving and other warehouse operations under the established operating procedures. Senior Receivers provide the work assignments of their coworkers daily. They train new and existing coworkers on the techniques and procedures used in completing work assignments. Operate pallet jacks, lift trucks, and any other equipment to move items to their proper locations and load and unload trucks whenever necessary. Logistics Specialists manage the storing and shipping of merchandise, thus making sure products reach clients safely and on time. Common duties are inspecting goods for damage or defects, doing data entry work, ensuring that the warehouse is clean and organized, arranging products on pallets, packing items, and pulling items based on customer orders.
