  U2start is a community which started out in 2006 as a way to share my passion about U2. The community comprises of more than 60,000 registered fans, 10,000+ followers on all major social media platforms and we get thousands of visitors each day. U2start is available in more than 10 languages, with its key resource being the show catalogue, an extensive information system with detailed records, setlists, audio recordings and information for more than 1,500 shows.The site is used as a personal 'playground' for modern technologies and online music concepts like U2start liveshow. I do most of the software development, social media management and general coordination of all our promotional activities. Show less

  Intership

  Internship for five months with the library in West-Achterhoek, which had five locations at the time. I've spent my time on research and development of a new catalog system for the ‘online library’ where customers could manage their reservations and could browse through the catalogue. I've integrated the catalog in the library website with a new set of integration tools from the existing catalogue system. The end result was a customised online library catalogue which improved customer experience and the ability for the library to manage their online catalogue content. Show less

  Internship for five months with Nedap's Library Solutions business unit. Worked with a co-student on a project to research information needs with libraries. Nedap's automation systems captured a lot of information which wasn't made available yet. Our goal was to research the needs for information within libraries in Europe, in order to draft a design for an information system ('Librarinet') for Libraries which contained the information they needed from Nedap's systems.The end result was a fully documented technical and functional design of Librarinet, along with a summary of customer insights from our study and survey which lots of libraries across Europe participated in.
