  I worked as a sale representative for Vector Marketing Company. This was a more difficult job for me, as this was a job where you made money off of how many connections you had. Working in this job helped me make new connections with people I would not have if it weren't for this job opportunity. I learned communication skills and how to be more confident, as it took a lot of that to be comfortable with my public speaking skills for this particular job.   Police cadet

  I am a student at the University of Delaware who works as a police cadet at the University of Delaware's Police Department on campus. I work patrol, most of which is around student dorms. We are the eyes and ears on campus, and we make sure no one is in harm's way, whether it's to themselves or others.
