The role of an assistant warden, is concerned with pastoral care, development of community and student discipline. In a community of just over 1,000 young students quite a range of issues crop up ranging from anti-social behaviour to quite serious cases involving residents in severe distress for one reason or another. The role of Assistant Warden is therefore one which requires tact, sensitivity, maturity and above all trustworthiness.
