As a claims adjuster, I am responsible for the complete handling of auto loss claims. This involves investigating how accidents occur and determining fault for accidents. I am responsible for the proper handling of the claim when there are coverage investigations and determining permissive use. I am also the point of contact for the customers throughout the repairs process, which requires me to be on call to answer questions and address customer concerns.Currently I am serving as a casualty adjuster. My responsibilities include managing a large pending of active injury claims. In managing these claims, I develop rapport with injured parties and develop their injury claim to conduct an evaluation for settlement. In addition, I continue to handle property damage and liabilities for these auto loss claims.I am concurrently receiving represented claims where the third party has elected to attain attorney representation. For these claims, I negotiated the injury settlements with attorneys rather than the injured parties. Show less
