  As part of the Energy Performance team, part of Network Architecture, my areas of activity are the Network Technology Sites evolution, the Data Centers and Technology Centers design and resilience for passive infrastructures (backup and emergency power systems, renewables power sources, mechanical cooling and free-cooling, firefighting systems, etc.), the definition and standardization of products and solutions for passive infrastructures Radio Access Network, Energy Efficiency initiatives and programs for all Network sites and other buildings.Within the Planet and Net-Zero programs in Vodafone, I am responsible for the definition of the Fugitive Gas Strategy, dedicated to the reduction and decommissioning of refrigerants and extinguisher with high GWP level, as well as scouting and selection of alternative gases and solutions for cooling and fire extinguishing systems, including evaluation of possible PFAS ban in Europe. Show less As member of Vodafone Group Technology - Cloud and Infrastructure Centre of Excellence, my work was focused on the development of Vodafone strategies for the Network Technology Site evolution, with particular attention to new Technology Centers infrastructure design, resilience and energy saving programs, for Vodafone Markets in Europe and AMAP area. The main tasks were: development of design guidelines and new standards for passive infrastructures (power, cooling, renewables, fire protection, etc.), coordinate best practice sharing among markets and introduction of innovative technologies and solutions, monitoring market’s KPI and objectives, support local Vodafone Markets in design activity for new Network Infrastructures and major retrofit of existing sites, development of Energy saving initiatives. In this role, I was responsible of the definition and release of technical specifications, design guidelines and procedures, for AC and DC power systems, direct expansion and chilled water mechanical cooling systems, energy monitoring network, fire detection and fire suppression systems, dedicated to Telecommunication Core Network and Data Center.
