She accomplishes this through hands-on massage therapy, therapeutic exercise and yoga, improved lifestyle choices, health consulting, and coaching.Dana’s approach to massage therapy is thorough, intuitive, and based on a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and effective treatment techniques. She works with clients to build body awareness by acknowledging the connection between mind and body. While treatment goals are always set by the patient, she co-creates comprehensive plans with her patients based on their desired outcomes and what she deems necessary through assessment and intuition.Her positive and engaged approach to life permeates her work and she has a reputation for having her enthusiasm for life rub off on those around her. Be warned: you might walk away feeling great. Dana is a 3000-hour massage therapy program graduate and an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. She continues post-graduate studies in osteopathic techniques, myofascial release, and yoga therapy. Aside from her massage therapy practice, Dana is currently completing studies for certification as a Co-active Life Coach and is thrilled to be developing more skills to help people experience and engage in their lives with new levels of fulfillment and purpose. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops in therapeutic yoga and anatomy and developing personal resilience to manage stress.When not busy building an empire of health, wellness,and empowerment, Dana is found practicing yoga to keep her pathways polished, weight training to kick butt, and skiing in the mountains or sitting by the sea for the pure pleasure of it.
