The main goal of this project was to quantify the catalytic activity of certain isoforms of carbonic anhydrases in mouse sperm, using a battery of specific inhibitors obtained through scientific collaboration with Dr. Claudiu Supuran and Dr. Fabrizio Carta from the Department of Chemistry of the University of Florence.
