Worked with a section of staff attorney in the 19th JDC in Baton Rouge. I observed court and client meetings, helped prepare trial notebooks, interview witnesses, and helped prepare for trials. I also completed legal research for our section of attorneys whenever requested.

      I interview clients, draft petitions for expunction for clients to file pro se and as attorney of record, file petitions in all 100 counties and handle hearings in numerous counties within a 3 hour commute window of our office in Raleigh. I present presentations on expunctions for numerous community partners with a focus in rural parts of the State. I also supervise pro bono law student projects with UNC, NCCU, and Campbell. I help supervise a team that consist of two other staff attorneys, two paralegals, an intake specialist and an outreach coordinator.
