  MY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Develop the design scope specification for each Project, ensuring appropriate input and sign-off.2. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of contractors.3. Specify equipment and supplies required for Projects.4. Assist with Contract design and administrative documentation covering technical, legal and commercial aspects. Obtain all statutory approvals required by Legislation.5. Plan and schedule Projects from initial investigation through approval of funds and eventual construction.6. Ensure completion of engineering projects within predetermined parameters including accountability for cost, completion date, operability, maintainability and resource allocation.7. Assure that engineering design is carried out to the requirements of ISO 9001.8. Management of pre-commissioning activities and defects liability period administration.9. Develop engineering estimates for potential capital projects and general plant modifications.10. Maintain and foster collaborative effort with Maintenance, Reliability, Technical and Production teams locally and overseas to identify, establish and share best practices.11. Contribute to the adherence to safe working practices, high quality workmanship, and have a proactive approach to teamwork, continuous improvement and cost-reduction.12. To engage and support the Business Management Systems in accordance with ISO14001 and ISO9001.13. Provide coaching and oversee training and skill development of colleagues.14. Manage and supervise capital and assigned maintenance works, ensuring adherence to: • Safe working practices and housekeeping standards. • High quality workmanship and compliance with engineering design and engineering standards. • Monitoring project progress. • Notification to Plant Managers of pending work and action work permits. • Issuing field instructions and variation orders. • Site and equipment security.3. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of IE contractors.4. Maintain and foster collaborative working relations between company employees and contractors.5. Maintain and foster collaborative effort with Maintenance/Reliability, Technical and Production teams to identify, establish and share best practices.6. Manage and participate in team projects. Identify and share continuous improvement ideas that may enhance maintenance, safety, process and cost reduction.7. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping. Display safe working practices in the performance of all duties and identify, correct and report hazardous situations.8. Complete reports and documentation as required.9. Minimise downtime by accurate fault finding, investigating and determining repair actions.3. Install and commission modifications and design changes to control, instrument and electrical equipment in accordance with company and Legislative standards.4. Use the company computer system to obtain spare parts necessary for maintenance tasks, and complete any documentation/reports as required.5. Isolate plant and equipment to their level of authorisation for maintenance purposes.6. Undertake and successfully complete training and development activities. Provide on-the-job training for other Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Apprentice personnel as required.7. Participate in team projects.
