  Worked during the summer off while in college. Maintenance around the facility mainly focusing around the four pools at the club. Duties consisted of changing filters, back washing, and monitoring pool water chemistry.

Events included parades in Washington D.C. and Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Also served as the drumline section leader.

  Cadet shipping on the USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE-7).70 days of sea time on a Dry Cargo/Ammunition Ship, diesel electric propulsion plant generating 6.6kV, 30,205 HP; work with all the engineers on the ship doing daily tasks including: fuel oil transfer, cleaning of purifiers, precipitating in UNREP operations, bunkering, and watch.

  Worked for Facilities Department focusing in the Wastewater Treatment Plant performing daily rounds, preventive maintenance and weekly testing. Preformed tests of the backup generators. Also got involved with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and charging of systems.
