  This first aim of this work involved the modelling of the behaviour of unreinforced soils by the creation of a new constitutive model.The second aim involved the creation of a new composite soil-fibre model. Both models were compared against published and primary experimental data with success, and the former is implemented into the finite element software LUSAS.

Many of these issues only occurred towards the start of the business process, once I gained an understanding of the market, and once word of mouth spread the flow of business was consistent and regular.
