  Completion of MDS Assessments for 90 bed nursing facility. Assure the completion of MDS by other disciplines. Schedule and attend scheduled MDS/IDC meetings. Complete auditing of MDS to insure maximum reimbursement. Manage and effectively utilize Electronic Health Records. Coordinate the disciplines of Nursing, Rehab, Dietary, Activities, Social Services, and Restorative Nursing on a weekly basis at patient care conferences, at which time new residents and those due for quarterly and/or acute review will be discussed. At this time changes are appropriately incorporated into the plan of care to reflect a holistic approach for the resident. Serve as a resource person to all disciplines regarding RAI process. Ascertain the need for significant changes and significant corrections. Schedule staff in-services if indicated after Director of Nursing involvement. Show less
