  I worked as the Head of Production at New Street Records, a new record label run by students at the University of Birmingham. We signed a number of artists from the university music scene, and it was my job to ensure that the music released by the record label is of the highest possible quality and that it meets the desires of the artists. I was directly involved with producing debut singles and EPs for the artists and I have worked closely with the sound engineers who are responsible for recording, mixing and mastering the tracks, which have been released under New Street Records. I was required to work efficiently and have great attention to detail, working both independently and as part of a team.
