  "I served as the coordinator of a student research group called KP3 Ekowisata (Student reseacrh group at Faculty of Forest Conservation, UGM), which focused on observing and researching ecotourism. Our activities included field observations, landscape assessments, and tourism management evaluations in various ecotourism areas around Yogyakarta and Central Java, Indonesia.*One of our major projects in 2016 was a research initiative titled 'Interpretation and Assessment of Potential Tourist Attractions in the Protected Forest of Mount Ungaran, Central Java, Indonesia.'Through this experience, I developed strong teamwork and leadership skills by collaborating with students from various academic backgrounds, including social sciences, anthropology, and tourism. I also honed my ability to analyze ecotourism-related issues and present research findings to diverse audiences, such as fellow students, ecotourism lecturers, and government authorities.In addition, I coordinated with multiple institutions and tourism site managers, which enhanced my administrative, communication, and diplomatic skills—especially when handling permissions and formal procedures."   I had the opportunity to lead a student group as a unit coordinator for a community service program in underdeveloped villages of Galeso and Papandangan, Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi, Indonesia. I lived among local communities with diverse cultures, languages, and behaviors for two months, which significantly enhanced my adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills, and leadership in diverse environments.

My main responsibility involved managing databases and ensuring proper documentation and monitoring of project activities across multiple conservation sites

We provided professional services across various sectors including forestry, palm oil plantations, agriculture, mining, and oil & gas—particularly for companies operating within or impacting forest areas.In my role as a Forestry Technical Officer, I was responsible for managing several projects, including forest reforestation initiatives as part of the Forest Area Use Permit obligations, as well as supervising forestry permits related to the utilization of timber from plantation forests.My responsibilities included supporting the preparation of technical documents such as work plans and project proposals, conducting field surveys, supervising project implementation, monitoring and analyzing project progress, and compiling and presenting final project reports. This project aimed to align with the Indonesian Government’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2030, as part of the Paris Agreement.Working collaboratively in a team, we managed a portfolio of approximately 30,000 debtors and conducted analyses for loan restructuring requests.   As part of my core responsibilities, I conduct research on biodiversity conservation, with a particular focus on addressing critical issues such as illegal wildlife trade and the unsustainable use of natural resources. To beef up these efforts, I am also involved in developing sustainable funding mechanisms that ensure conservation projects and activities are supported by adequate and long-term resources.In my current role within the Policy Team, I am actively engaged in initiating policy reforms and supporting law enforcement through various initiatives — including regulatory analysis, preparation of policy briefs and papers, facilitating focus group discussions and expert interviews, and conducting field studies to validate data and inform policy recommendations.
