  Under the supervision of Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN), I worked as Student One Health Innovation Club Lead (SOHIC Lead) for the University of Ngaoundere for two full year.My key achievements:- Co-founded the University of Ngaoundere Student One Health club, developing the legal documents and advocated for its full recognition as a university club.- Planned and conducted 11 community outreaches for health sensitization related activities(One Health, AMR, HIV, WASH, Child Education, Zoonoses, Risk communication and Community engagement, Environmental protection, e-learning..)- Engaged Ngaoundere III council in the organization of a clean-up campaign in partnership with HYSACAM in February 2022.- Won Gold Medal with Team-Cameroon at the Global Health Case Competition for Africa region in October 2020.- Participated in the development of AFROHUN-CAMEROON Year 3 Workplan in July 2021. - Won Silver Medal with Team-Ngaoundere at the National Global Health Case Competition in September 2021.- Participant at the launching of ARPA-Cameroon COVID-19 project in November 2021- Assisted in Risk Communication and Community Engagement training in for students at the University of Ngaoundere in March 2022.   USAID’s Infectious Disease Detection and Surveillance (IDDS) project is a six-year initiative in more than 20 countries in Africa and Asia where there are significant gaps in health systems’ ability to detect, track, and rapidly respond to infectious diseases and drug-resistant infections that pose a major threat to public health and global health security. I joint the IDDS team last August specifically to work as Monkeypox prevention and control strategies in Cameroon. We assist the Government of Cameroon in the Development of Intergrated One Health Stategic documents, training laboratory staff for Monkeypox diagnosis, developing Monkeypox epidemiological surveillance system, procurement of diagnostic and surveillance equipment and community sensitization on the disease.
