      I became fully engaged in the realities of rural farming during my two-month Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE). In addition to speaking with members of the agricultural community personally to gain insight into their troubles and problems on a daily basis, I gathered data on farmer demographics, average land holdings, and common crop diseases. I gained a practical understanding of the agriculture industry from this hands-on experience, which also made me more appreciative of farmers and the challenges they confront. Show less
