  As the Treasurer of Beta Upsilon Chi, I gained experience leading others, fundraising for various causes, and managing a budget. Along with six other men, I led a fraternity of 140 active brothers. Personally, I supervised eleven men, including a fundraising committee of five members. I planned weekly meetings and tasks for the men I directly supervised. I created two semester long budgets totaling $100,000+. During my term, I fundraised over $11,500 and increased philanthropic fundraising by 463% over the previous year's total. Show less

  Court Monitor

  As a Court Monitor for the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department, I managed the office and tennis courts at the West Hills Tennis Center and Tyson Park Tennis Center. I was responsible for keeping a record of financials such as court fees, lesson payments, league fees, and concessions. I also went to area recreation centers to teach children how to play tennis as part of a summer program.
