      Combat Engineers ensure that friendly troops can live, move and fight on the battlefield while denying enemy forces the same. They also perform construction and maintenance tasks, operate vehicles and equipment in support of engineer operations, and maintain field installations and facilities. Led a section of 10-12 people conducting Expedient Route Opening tasks. Act as a liaison between eight schools in the Canadian Army and higher headquarters to ensure the schools have manning and equipment to conduct training. Responsible for resource management of the C-IED Squadron. This includes all vehicles and supplies required to work, in any environment. ACES Advisor is responsible for conducting an intelligence based threat assessment, planning both high risk and high assurance searches based on requirements. the Search Advisor delivers orders to the search teams, coordinates all external resources, controls the conduct of searches and ensures all tasks are completed to an exceptional standard, including documentation.
