  I was employed as a customer advisor temporarily over the busy Christmas period for two consecutive years (2010 and 2011). During the first year I worked on the Collection Point desk which involved providing the customers with the items they had purchased. I had to ensure that customers were receiving their good within the given time limit and this involved communicating with the stock room upstairs. During the second year I was trained to work operate the tills and work on the Jewellery Counter. When selling jewellery and watches I had to provide a more personal service for which I communicated with the customer to discover exactly what they were looking for and their budget. As I was employed during the months running up to Christmas, I was often asked to assist with picking gifts for the customer, listening to their exact requirements. In addition, I was required to handle high value goods and was responsible for the keys to the jewellery storage room. Show less

I also paid out on winning Lottery tickets and scratch cards, as well as activating scratch cards before they could be sold. - Carried out a number of basic customer service tasks including authorising refunds, handing Click and Collect orders and answering the telephone. - Ensured that kiosk, tills and self-scan machines were kept tidy and clean. - Received a score of 100% on my mystery shopper audit which further highlights my customer service skills. I also carried out support work, developed email templates for use with Communicator. I started at the company as a Junior Web Developer and I was promoted just after a year in that position.

Cat designs the themes and I develop them.
