  Entrepreneur | 2023 – current After graduating, I identified an opportunity in the local market and launched my own business. My business specialises in the repair and restoration of timber doors and surrounds, a feature of the local area where houses date from the 1960s. • Over a period of nine months, I successfully grew the venture to achieve a financially successful business.• This endeavour demanded the application of skills honed during my academic tenure, as well as a continuous learning mindset, including mastering new skills and techniques such as the use of fiberglass and polyester resin to design and execute bespoke components.• Effectively communicating with customers, mastering self-marketing techniques, and adapting to diverse challenges were integral aspects of the journey. • This experience not only underscored my engineering expertise but also highlighted my ability to thrive in dynamic environments, manage multifaceted projects, and deliver tangible results to exceed customer expectations.
