  As Senior Advisor in the International Bureau at the FCC, I developed rules and policies to drive efforts to reduce international carrier calling rates, evaluate telecommunications mergers, and liberalize undersea cable landing licensing. I also represented the FCC at the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD), the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), among other international fora.

  At MCI, I managed the D.C. office of MCI’s International Regulatory Affairs group. I supported MCI's international services operations, including contracts with overseas telecommunications carriers. In addition, I oversaw engagement with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on behalf of MCI’s international services business. I also supported MCI’s foreign operations, and engaged policymakers around the world to advance MCI’s business.

  As the Director of Global Government Affairs & Public Policy at Dell, I helped design and execute Dell’s global government affairs program. During my time at Dell, I worked to expand Dell’s government affairs program outside the U.S., to include China, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, El Salvador, Japan, Brussels, London, Malaysia, and Singapore. I also led Dell’s efforts on many policy issues, including trade, education, and broadband.

  I co-founded Worldwide Insight, LLC, a boutique government affairs strategy and management firm. We built and managed global government affairs programs. We worked with technology-focused clients to develop strategies and tactics to achieve objectives in the government affairs space. Clients included Seagate Technology, Dell Inc., Motorola Mobility (now owned by Lenovo), and Mars Inc.
