(Supplier Carrying Inventory)• Monitoring supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.• Appraising vendor manufacturing capacity & capability in line with production forecasts and mitigate risk.• Conducting risk assessment audits at vendor end to assess financial health and enabling long term strategy building. • Building and maintaining solid, long term relationships with vendors through frequent factory visits and interactions. • Communication with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes. • Managing activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, warehousing & receiving.• Working with Quality and Manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors.
