  As the Trade Compliance Empowered Official, I am responsible for understanding and ensuring that our company follow all regulatory requirements and statutes applicable to the products we ship domestically and internationally; and to make sure we have all appropriate licensing and certifications to ensure we can ship without delay. This role requires my being a liaison with legal to ensure we remain in compliance, and to communicate and enforce the rules that must be followed by all shipping/receiving company locations. Additionally, I am required to maintain compliance operating procedures and guides and to train applicable sites and personnel on those documents. This role also requires me to resolve compliance issues with Customs, to coordinate shipment details with brokers for clearing customs, and to submit Importer Security Filings (ISF) as needed.As the Supply Chain/Logistics Manager, I am responsible for managing my team's tasks, as well as coordinating/collaborating with our internal/external departments, company locations, vendor's, suppliers and client shipments, as well as communicating up the chain on the status of our activities.
