All project management activities to support the strategic goals for the data retention and application closure for Ciba Geigy production applications during the Ciba / Sandoz merged were completed in time and well under budget.   I had direct responsibility for the planning, initiation and management of Information Management (IT) projects for IBM Corporate Finance. This responsibility included leading and guiding the work of technical staff and serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. I was responsible to plan project stages and assess the business implications for each project stage, as well as, monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards and cost targets had been achieved. The Program Management accountability included cost analysis for yearly hardware and software upgrades. The business applications included Audit and Controls, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Hardware Pricing, Legal, Tax, IBM Retirement Fund and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Responsibility also included the preparation of Executive status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing IT information and trends.I was assigned as a Project Manager to the JPMC commercial banking account from January 20003 until January 2005. This responsibility included coordination for data center consolidations, Operating Systems upgrades throughout the JPMC datacenters and transitioning resident JPMC web hosting applications to fully managed IBM facilities. During Y2K, I was the worldwide lead Project Manager responsible for the successful build of the IBM Millennium Center, IBM's worldwide Executive Reporting tool during Y2K. I received an IBM Bravo awards for my Project Management performance for the deployment of IBM's strategic solution for the Sarbanes Oxley audit and the deployment of the IBM Millennium center.
