Has transformed Working Families 200+ specialist advice pages - which attract one million unique views per year, newsletters and social media aimed at parents/advisers. Manages the Legal Advice Services of the charity, winner of the coveted Law Society Excellence In-House Award in 2018 and Lexis Nexis 2020 In-House Team of the Year finalist and secured in December 2019 the Advice Quality Standard when the external assessor noted ‘exceptional performance’. Leads Working Families’ pro bono programme which involves volunteer solicitors from private practice forming an integral part of the legal advice function, most of them helping via the ground-breaking email platform she set up with city law firms (including Linklaters, Herbert Smith and Freshfields) in 2017. The number of solicitor volunteers, now nearly 200, has increased ten-fold in the past three years.Is part of the senior leadership team of the charity and is the budget holder of the Legal Advice Services. Generated a new stream of significant, regular, fundraising from city law firms; and has developed Working Families’ revenue-generating legal training service which is offered to other charities in related sectors.Takes an active part in the policy work of the charity and regularly represents Working Families in the media, in discussions with the government and in front of Parliamentary Select Committees.
