  Bij dit evenement had ik 2 jaar op rij de functie “Runner”, wat inhield dat ik voor het transport zorgde over het park. Hier kan er gedacht worden aan het bevoorraden van stands, maar ook het ontvangen en begeleiden van de artiesten naar de juiste stages!

  In deze baan was ik medeverantwoordelijk voor het maken en bakken van de broden, maar ook liep ik soms rond op de banket-afdeling.

  Toen ik begon bij Sylt was het een nieuwe zaak. Sylt had een nieuw concept namelijk de Seafoodbar, een chique visrestaurant in het centrum in Rotterdam. Hier fungeer ik als gastheer en het welzijn van de gast.

  Unica

  Cad-tekenaar

  Bij Unica ben ik begonnen als tekenaar. Ik was daarbij verantwoordelijk voor de tekeningen van de leidingen, kanalen en schachten van grote bedrijfspanden. Het inzicht wat hiervoor nodig is ontwikkelde ik snel. Met de kennis die ik opdeed in mijn bachelor heb ik een algoritme onderzocht en ontwikkelt omtrent ventilatie. Dit algoritme boekte veel succes, zowel binnen als buiten het bedrijf en heeft er uiteindelijk voor gezorgd dat er nu binnen de overheid een voorstel ligt om dit algoritme als richtlijn op te nemen in de wet.Na 4 maanden in dienst te zijn, kreeg ik een project toebedeeld en heb ik voor grotendeels het project geleid.   JV Software & Mechanics is een bedrijf met vele mogelijkheden. Zo kunnen er technisch ontwerpen op basis van Computer Aided Design(CAD), zowel in 2D als in 3D, gerealiseerd worden, maar wordt er ook gekeken hoe administratieve handelingen, zoals in Microsoft Office, efficiënter gemaakt kunnen worden.

  Beside my adventure at GP Elite, I had the opportunity to have a role in the delivery process of the project The View of Rotterdam for Unica. This project is being realized at Katendrecht, with a beautiful view at the Maas. It will have 110 luxury apartments, restaurants, shops and a hotel with 200 rooms. With finishing this project, it is very important that there’s a file ready for the client, which describes all the installations, and that’s my responsibility!Over the past few weeks I’ve been busy identifying our delivery obligations, using the building specifications file, consisting of 10 parts. Reviewing this file precisely gave us a good insight into what we needed to deliver a complete file.The project is at the moment in its final phase and we expect the building to be ready at the end of this year.   The last few weeks I had the opportunity to work at the Engineering-department of GP Elite. This gave me a good insight into how engineering works in the race-industry. In doing so, I gained insight through the different disciplines, like rally cars, track day cars and even the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup’s, where some are used in the Porsche Supercup! Beside the techniques I learned from my Bachelor study Mechanical Engineering, the time I spent here was very useful to get some work experience in an industry which is not very usual. Show less

  As an Account Manager, I served as the first point of contact for the Service Department at Huisman Equipment. Whenever requests from the client came in, I was responsible for the commercial side of offering services. Additionally, I was responsible for reconnecting with former clients and re-establishing business relationships.
