Joined Federal Civil Service workers in repair and upgrade of communication suites on-board all Submarine Group Nine boats.   Full time employment with promotion to positions of increased responsibility and skill requirement.As a Staff Media Equipment Operator ran various portable and permanent electronic equipment systems including Smart classrooms and Husky Stadium. Scheduled, trained, and lead part time employees. As a Media Tech Lead created and directed a new system for training and scheduling Media Equipment Operators for campus events. Created the first computer scheduling data base. Designed and implemented Media Equipment Operator training program. Created and developed system for advancement and promotion of Media Equipment Operators. Assisted running the central office for campus media operations. Promoted to AV Engineering Shop and focused on design, installation, repair, and maintenance of university media assets and facilities. Promoted, retained, during departmental restructure working with Learning Technologies Integration division. This shop converged AV and IT. Deployed Crestron Digital Media systems throughout campus. Classroom Technology and Events was responsible for the design, installation, repair and maintenance of university media facilities. Re-imaged Windows OS computers using local and remote control and the Lite Touch Installation software. Typical work included integrating control and signal processing equipment and Project Management. Projects required use of a complete array of electronic test gear and other tools.
