      Activities and Societies: Proud member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) since 1992. Member if IFP-NY. AFI. Studied film history and techniques. Studied East European Cinema with Antonín Jaroslav Liehm, a well respected leader of European Cinema criticism and culture. Outside of school, while video was still reel to reel, I owned and operated a small video production company shooting bands, weddings, press conferences, dancers & doctoral thesis components. Simultaneously worked on small movies shooting in New York where I began developing skills in producing and managing sets.
