Starting as an Assistant Editor in my 1st year (2014), to being a Sub-Editor in my 2nd year (2015) to eventually becoming an Editor-in-Chief in my 3rd year (2016), I had been involved in every aspect of the publishing of our magazine. As assistant editor, I was responsible for copy-editing and to make sure that submitted papers were in accordance with the guidelines of the Modern Language Association. As sub-editor, I played a critical role in which papers got selected. As Editors-in-Chief, we were responsible for creating the magazine for that year from scratch. We were responsible for everything from assembling a team, to assigning responsibility, to selecting the papers that got published, managing a limited budget and editing the papers before the magazine went to print.       Bharatanatyam in the Wild is an online dance film project I started with my sister and a friend. My sister and I work on every single aspect of it – from organizing, to filming, to editing, to uploading it to various social media platforms, and publicity.
