      Hall of Fame Award - Defect prevention NISOURCE Jun 2011 The TSM servers were presenting performance problems regarding TSM database issues since five months ago. This situation was causing whole system unavailability and also ticket flooding in all storage queues. TSM best practices were applied to help to identify the pain points of each problem and then the milestones to have all them addressed and fixed.

      Hall of Fame Award - Defect Prevention Delivery Center Brazil Director May 2011 After the implementation of Vmware Consolidated Backup project through the best practices leverage, the performance of all backups and also restores were improved. All process became 20 times faster than the traditional backup processes. VCB is the best practice to perform online backups from VMware environments. This action allowed to have all Virtual Machines stored into TSM environment.
