  Under close supervision by a Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer (Supervisor), in a learning and training capacity, the Student Assistant will perform the following duties:Assist in the testing of material used on State construction projects. This will include conducting electrical tests and inputting test results into our database management system.Construct basic electrical test fixtures and cables to facilitate the testing of electrical material.Assist in the processing and handling of electrical material requiring testing. This may include the transport of material to/from contractors in the local area and the packaging of material sent through the mail.Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe lab environment by organizing and storing electrical material and test equipment.
