  ARLANTA is een organisatie die christelijk, hoogstaand en innovatief basisonderwijs biedt met gedreven, professionele medewerkers. De organisatie bestaat uit een veelkleurig palet van 22 christelijke scholen voor basisonderwijs (waarvan 1 voor speciaal basisonderwijs) in de gemeente ‎Noardeast-Fryslân, de meest noordelijke gemeente van Friesland. ARLANTA staat voor de uitdaging te dealen met krimp en tegelijk te werken aan het beste onderwijs voor onze kinderen nu en straks. ARLANTA is een organisatie met lef en schuwt afwijkende en originele oplossingen niet om haar kinderen de wereld te leren lezen. Show less

  Advisory board reducept

  Reducept, a VR serious game for the treatment of unexplained chronic pain, very consciously based its game concept from the very beginning on my research on figural transfer and metaphorical recontextualization. This makes Reducept the first convincing proof of the Design for Transfer rationale outside of an experimental setting. As a member of the Advisory Board I am therefore very grateful and involved in Reducept, its possibilities and promising future.

  Actually, it's pretty simple: our man-made world no longer functions that well. Solutions that once seemed like a good idea come to a head. The issues of our time are dynamic, and thus are difficult to study or solve. They have become multifaceted and networked. Of course, we don't have the answers either. With the Professorship Design Driven Innovation, we conduct research into the new design and research strategies that contribute to the transitions we face. We do this multi- and meta-disciplinary, through serious gaming and other targeted design activities, always applied and focused on actual impact. Dare to fail forward with us, it's the only way.
