      • Planned IT solutions ready for deployment in a retail environment.• Created an end-to-end deployment process for new hardware and software in garages, controlling the till to pump communications, i.e. the Retalix Fuel System and Fi Boxes.• Rolled out new hardware including Point of Sale tills (POS), chip n pin units, printers and outside payment terminals (OPTs). This involved daily communications with vendors such as Wincor, Lexmark, Gilbarco and NCR.• Liaised with vendors to agree which engineers attend sites, what processes they follow and monitored issues. This includes conference calls with engineers on site, colleagues in India, business contacts and account managers, to resolve live issues.• Agreed with service managers the volumes and times when SCCM agents could be rolled out to in-store servers and tills for infrastructure asset management.• Advised Tesco’s help desk and NCR what the root cause was for installation issues of Self Service Checkouts.• Written user stories for deploying Retalix till software in an Agile environment.• Provided a resource forecast to business contacts funding the rollouts.• Created end-to-end implementation processes which included training colleagues in India, enabling the software and hardware to be rolled out.• Monitored the rate of implementations and made them faster and easier to action.• Carried out deployment activities such as scheduling works to be carried out with clash analysis.• Provided weekly status reports of rollouts to stakeholders, tailoring the information for the target audience. Maintained risk and issues logs for each project.• Reviewed completed deployments, learned lessons and improved processes.• Re-wrote scripts for Self Service Checkout picklists across the UK and ROI, simplifying the process, increasing the rollout rate and ease of success checking.
