  Center for Research in Computational Linguistics (CRCL), Department of Computer Science, DHA Suffa University in collaboration with Centre for Language Engineering(CLE),UET, Lahore and University of Konstanz, Germany has been awarded a project titled, “Text-to-Speech for Urdu: Understanding Intonation”, by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), Germany. This project will investigate on Urdu intonation and speech prosody in relation with the syntax of different types of Urdu sentences. The project will lead to the development of an Urdu language based Text-to Speech Synthesis System.   2nd Place - Trivago Hackathon 2017 Trivago HQ, Düsseldorf-Golzheim Nov. 2017 This was the third edition of Trivago hackathon in cooperation with Techfugees. The challenge was to overcome the gap between refugees and digital jobs. Our product was a chat-bot which assists refugees to build their skills and prepare their resume and cover letter for jobs.
