      Estimated weekly cost on Mondays and compiled the actual cost reports on Wednesdays to be sent to the senior management in the Fresh Meat Accounts division of the Dakota Dunes corporate office. Prepared daily P&L for processing, slaughter and case-ready operations. Carried out internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency and accuracy. Addressed issues regarding primal yield optimization with the production team. Overlooked cattle payments on a daily basis. Built and supervised a staff of 12 team members that did weekly carcass credits, packaging, prime, attendance and case-ready reporting.Key Achievements:•Labor cost per pound produced was reduced by affecting the following measures - increasing production chain speed and decreasing overtime labor.•Audited current maintenance supply inventory and reduced its volume from $4.5 million to $3.2 million over the past year.•Minimized production rework.•Organized work groups and mentored accounting staff on the current ERP system (SAP Financials).•Did monthly and quarterly audit procedures in product inventory to maintain minimal and accurate quantity variances in the perpetual inventory system.
