  Battery Commander for a FORSCOM, worldwide deployable Avenger Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) unit assigned to the 31st ADA Brigade, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command with the responsibility to execute low altitude air defense of assets, prepare Soldiers and batteries for combat, and take care of Soldiers and their families. Responsible for the training, discipline, safety, career progression, welfare, and morale of 75 Soldiers and their families. Responsible for the manning, readiness, maintenance, and accountability of battery equipment valued in excess of $34,000,000. Responsible for the command and control of 12 Avengers, one sentinel radar, and two control nodes to interdict enemy fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and counter unmanned aerial systems from conducting surveillance and aerial attacks on defended assets. Serves as a Tactical Director (TD), exercising direct control and supervision of 4 Patriot firing batteries, synchronizing tactical operations.
