  In this role, I managed, supported and altered a variety of aspects of the international curriculum. I provided professional development and support for my teachers. I managed and curated our Rubicon Atlas curriculum pages to ensure each unit had the appropriate resources and information available. I observed teachers and provided feedback on their lessons. I worked to ensure classroom instruction and teacher work followed our department's goals and expectations in terms of creating learning environments that were engaging and enriching.One of the biggest transformations that occurred while I was curriculum coordinator, was moving to theme-based units, each with a culminating project that was the focus of the entire 6 weeks.   As an innovation and digital coach, I act as an innovative leader and provide training and support for the integration of robotics, coding, computational thinking and the Future Fluencies into the delivery of the curriculum in creating DAA's 21st century learning environments. I work towards promoting innovation and the use of learning technologies to enrich and enhance teaching and learning experiences throughout the curriculum. A major goal for DAA is to achieve Apple Distinguished School status and I am working to drive this goal by prioritizing innovative use of our 1:1 iPad program and ensuring the iPad is our primary classroom tool.
