  In this role, I managed, supported and altered a variety of aspects of the international curriculum. I provided professional development and support for my teachers. I managed and curated our Rubicon Atlas curriculum pages to ensure each unit had the appropriate resources and information available. I observed teachers and provided feedback on their lessons. I worked to ensure classroom instruction and teacher work followed our department's goals and expectations in terms of creating learning environments that were engaging and enriching.One of the biggest transformations that occurred while I was curriculum coordinator, was moving to theme-based units, each with a culminating project that was the focus of the entire 6 weeks. This was a slow process getting all stakeholders on board, and my role involved supporting all stakeholders during this shift in practice. Show less
