      While serving at Alliant Energy Corporation, I gained experience across all facets of major HR functions, which encompassed payroll processing, tuition reimbursements, exit interviews, and new hire paperwork. As a result, I was able to expand the internship into serving as a designated HR Coordinator and main point of contact for 4,200+ employees, external candidates, and former employees. To support efficient operations, I triaged all incoming HR correspondence and held responsibility over the corporation’s recruitment schedule, including candidate screening, testing, and interviews. Following exit interviews, I thoroughly investigated potential concerns, and subsequently discussed any findings with the HR Business Partners, Employee and Labor Relations Specialists, and the former employee’s leadership team.Key Accomplishments:● Revamped data entry process for required OSHA compliance trainings to ensure timely entry of completed trainings into PeopleSoft, averaging 5,000 weekly entries.● Analyzed employee lifecycle data to present management recommendations aimed at attracting top-tier talent and increase retention.● Conducted biweekly audits of employee time reporting codes to reconcile and resolve over usage to reduce the number of employees reporting negative leave balances.       Assisted in the launch of a new Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Center spanning 3,000 Associates and 100+ Managers. To drive strategic operations, I provided HR guidance to FC leadership to ensure consistent administration of corporate policies. I also partnered with Managers and Supervisors to address performance concerns, conduct thorough workplace investigations, and engage in the progressive discipline process. Additionally, I offered guidance and counseling to employees on time and attendance policies. In instances of continued policy violations or repeated performance concerns, I drafted and delivered terminations. To ensure up-to-date personnel monitoring and to support data-driven decision-making, I maintained the Associate roster with new hires, separations, and relocations. I also leveraged data analytics to compile peak reports outlining headcount averages throughout shifts and breaks, to drive conversations regarding potential impacts to performance. Key Accomplishments:● Successfully implemented a robust professional development program for Associates, which resulted in the program being rated second out of the entire North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) network.● Championed positive work environment by owning the site associate engagement program, leading HR staff to exceed established KPIs at an average 383% to goal per week. ● On-boarded and integrated 20+ new hires per new employee orientation session, clearly communicated HR policies and expectations to new hires to best position employees for success.● Mentored and guided four Area Managers; developed improvement plans and identified training and mentorship opportunities for enhanced development.● Administered an average of 30 random drug tests per month; across all shifts to maintain workplace safety.● Audited up to 75 employee timecards on a daily basis to address commonly occurring mistakes and to promote adherence to time-off policies.
