      Educator, Inclusion Specialist, and Evaluator

During my time as an educator, inclusion specialist, and evaluator, I have been focused on helping students and teachers understand the obstacles that are preventing the student(s) from reaching their full potential and to set up strategies and learning opportunities to help overcome these obstacles. I have worked with a very diverse population and very diverse teams over the years, which allows me to explore areas that may be new to me. My primary goal in my education roles has been how to effectively include people with various learning and ability differences into the general education setting and help them to be successful. • Fazheng Group, Beijing Royal Academy, and Busche Academy

      Jan 2017 - Sept 2021
Director of International Student Programs and International Educational Advisor

During this role, I worked with senior executives and high-level teams to coordinate the establishment of Busche Academy in Chester, NH. Busche Academy is an international and residential school with the goal of building bridges between youth and adults of many different cultures. I coordinated communication and relationships with local governments, state government, and outside businesses in order to build strong ties in the area of international education. I wrote and presented the applications and supporting documents to the New Hampshire Board of Education and the Commissioner of Education with the goal of getting the school approved as a non-public school in the State of New Hampshire. In addition, I developed summer language-based programs for international students. As a part of these programs, I coordinated and planned activities and events that would help integrate and expose the students and teachers to American culture. I developed, managed, and maintained the paperwork needed to obtain visas for the students and the teachers, registration packets, and medical forms. Over several summers we welcomed 80+ children and teachers each summer to the program. Show less
