  *RETIRED* Director of the Instructional Technology team for the Cobb County School District (CCSD) in Marietta, Georgia. Before being named Director in August 2015, Cristin held teaching and leadership roles in CCSD. Over the last thirty-two years, she has experience teaching grades K-10, regular and gifted education, in various schools in the District, as well as leadership roles such as instructional technology specialist and a learning support specialist. As the director, Cristin led a team of twenty-seven Technology Training/Integration Specialists (TTIS) who served 112+ schools, K-12. The CCSD Instructional Technology (#CobbInTech) department provided a variety of professional learning opportunities to support teachers and leaders in transforming their schools.• Provide leadership in all aspects of technology for the school system by reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.• Collaborate with Curriculum and Instruction to make informed choices.• Collaborate with Principals and school staff to make informed decisions.• Lead district initiatives, collaborating across departments and functional areas that support the adoption and implementation of technology in all aspects of school business, namely those that improve teaching and learning and promote digital-age skills.• Create and support cross-functional teams for needs assessment, decision-making, technology support, professional development, and other aspects of the district technology program to further support the district and department strategic plans.• Manage and direct staff in support of digital learning tools and resources to help the district meet goals of the strategic plan.• Supervise the skills development of 27 district pecialists.
