  SHOP FLOOR (JOB PROFILE AS AM-PRODUCTION)• LINE MANAGEMENT Planning production activity on daily & weekly basis. Maintaining optimum utilization of man, machine and other resources. Meet Production Target day-to-day basis. Analyze & immediate action on Production difficulties. Maintaining & documentation of records as per ISO/TS requirement to implement TS 16949 & ISO 9001 activities in plant.  Follow up the material shortage & active participation in KAIZEN, POKAYOKE- Implementation & other company activities. Control of Special Processes to ensure only skilled workmen do the special process. Receive SAFETY BAY OWNER CERIFICATE in TATA MOTORS. Implementation of TPM on shop floor. Leading Role in New machine setup & trial. Daily monitoring of Customer Complaints and then making an action Plan to eliminate it. To control over the location and issue of materials to line as per the original. Daily monitoring of Production Vs Schedule and Losses Summary. Giving daily reports to Senior persons of dept. regarding problems faced and solved.• MAN MANAGEMENT Day to day Manpower Planning depending on the line absenteeism. Maintain Discipline, General cleanliness & harmonious environment inside the plant. Monitoring the monthly attendance, overtime status of all workmen & Co-ordinate with HR. Arrange training for workmen to creating awareness about total productivity management system, 6's. Controlling Absenteeism through daily monitoring the attendance & carrying out counseling. To participate in Shop Council Meeting in each meeting area of shop floor. To ensuring development of skill of new operators on training.• COST CONTROL Preparing the Line Rejection and review the corrective action to avoid an extra. Planning for elimination of Major Repetitive Defects for reduction of Repair Cost. Monitoring the Customer complaint and taking Countermeasure to make it at zero Level, to reduce the Rejection Cost Show less
