We wanted to find out what the potential of this new procedure was, and built a model to simulate current and future scenarios. This delivered promising results and the innovation is currently being researched further, with a more extensive trial underway.An article detailing the benefits of early HTA is being worked on.

  Performing a systematic literature review in efficacy and adverse events for systemic therapies in late stages of malignant melanoma (III & IV). Such data can be input in a economic model for cost-effectiveness comparisons. Since systemic therapies are large cost-drivers, enabling decision makers to make the best informed choices can play an important role in providing both good healthcare, and in maintaining costs at an acceptable level.
